About Lars
Lars Carlberg first delved into Mosel wine following his studies in Austin, Texas, in the early 1990s. In 2005, he established the former Mosel Wine Merchant, a portfolio of select Mosel winemakers, and worked as a Wine Specialist at Christie’s in New York City before then.
Lars lives in Trier, Germany, and represents—among Mosel growers—Hofgut Falkenstein under his own “LCS” back label since 2011.
In addition, Lars provides German-English translation services (brochures, websites) and arranges tours on the Mosel with his expertise of the region and contacts to the top producers.
